Our School plays a central role in shaping and supporting a vibrant ecosystem of translational and clinical research, innovation, and scholarly activity across 13 Departments. Embedded within a multidisciplinary academic environment and closely aligned with UCC Futures, the School of Medicine works to foster collaboration across medical, biomedical and health sciences. In close partnership with clinical affiliates, research centres, and global collaborators, our School promotes excellence, integrity, and innovation across all stages of the research pipeline. Our mission is to drive impactful research and innovation that addresses the complexities of human health and disease, improves patient outcomes, and informs healthcare policy and practice.
