A simple adjunct to Pulse palpation in clinical examination.

This is a technique that allows an individual to improve quality and accuracy in palpation of any pulse, but in particular, the radial pulse.

UCC School of Medicine hosted the 8th Annual Atlantic Corridor Medical Student Research Conference on the 11th of November 2022 at Brookfield Health Sciences Complex.

The annual School of Medicine Prize-Giving Ceremony took place on Friday 20th January,2023 in Brookfield Health Sciences Complex. This was the first in person ceremony to take place since Covid 19 whereby the 2021/2022 prize winners were awarded.  

The School of Medicine Clinical Commencement Ceremony took place earlier on in the year on Friday the 13^th of January 2023.

Major congratulations to Dr Lisa Kiely who becomes the second Specialist Registrar from the dermatology department in the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital to secure a place on the prestigious Irish Clinical Academic Training (ICAT) programme.

A very successful Academic Track Internship Showcase took place recently in U.C.C Centre for Executive Education, hosted by U.CC./South Intern Network.
