Rising Voices: Women Shaping the Future of Medical Research was a rousing success.

On 18th March 2026, Professional, Managerial, and Support Staff in the School of Medicine gathered in the Jennings Gallery for a coffee morning organised by the School EDI Committee.

On 19th November, the College of Medicine & Health EDI Steering Group awarded School of Medicine EDI Committee member Professor Mark McEntee an Appreciation Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the School and the wider College of Medicine and Health.

UCC’s School of Medicine has achieved its first Athena SWAN Bronze Award for gender equality in higher education. The award celebrates good practice towards the advancement of gender equality and representation.
