Teaching and Learning
Teaching at UCC is student-centred and patient-focused, reflecting best practice in medical education. Teaching methods include seminars, laboratory practicals, tutorials, case-based teaching and clinical skills sessions. The medical school has a dedicated academic Medical Education Unit which provides expertise in programme development and assessment. The School of Medicine buildings are spacious and well-designed and only a few minutes walk from each other and from UCC main campus.
