The Decade of Centenaries History Competition for Primary and Post-Primary Schools’ Prize-giving Ceremony 2023 took place in the Aula Maxima in UCC on Monday, 16 October.

Students from primary and post-primary schools across the country (from every province in Ireland) travelled to UCC to receive awards for their projects/essays at the ceremony. The audience heard special tributes to each of the prize recipient’s achievements with their projects from various members of the School of History and the Department of Education, co-sponsors of the competition. The prizes were presented by the Head of the School of History, Dr Hiram Morgan, and the ceremony was followed with a reception.
