The Department of General Practice at University College Cork, in collaboration with Academic GP Ireland (AGPI), the Irish College of GPs, and the Cork Specialist GP Training Programme, hosted the Academic GP Ireland Annual Conference 2026 from 4–6 June 2026.
Our aim is to organise events that highlight the importance of and potential for partnerships in GP education and research in the Southwest region and nationally to support health service delivery to optimise patient care.

We are delighted to announce that the Academic GP Ireland Conference 2026 will take place on June 5th–6th at University College Cork, hosted by the Department of General Practice, in collaboration with Academic General Practice Ireland and the Irish College of GPs.
