New course offered for registered Primary School Teachers

The 2026 Society for Francophone Postcolonial Studies Annual Postgraduate Study Day will be hosted at UCC on Friday 12^th June 2026, in the CACSSS Seminar Room (ORB G27). 

Dr Céire Broderick, Christine Montané, Nikola Tallova and Louise Tormey presented their SATLE funded project Enhancing student experience and intercultural competence through community-based learning at the SLLC Teaching and Learning event at UCC on May 14^th.

In this latest episode presented by Dr Patrick Geoghegan of Trinity College Dublin, Professor Patrick O’Donovan, Emeritus Professor of French at University College Cork joins other scholars to discuss the life and work of Marcel Proust and explore his connections with Ireland.

Dr Sinan Richards was recommended by the Selection Panel of the 2026 France Excellence-NUI Research Residency to a period of research at the Laboratoire d’études et de recherches sur les Logiques Contemporaines de la Philosophie (LLCP) at the Université Paris 8: Vincennes - Saint-Denis.
