We are collaborating with colleagues across the public sector during the COVID-19 pandemic, to provide facilities, equipment and personnel to support the delivery of essential health, public and community services.  

Public Testing and Contact Tracing

UCC has been part of the national response to mobilise highly skilled staff, utilise campus spaces for testing hubs and contact tracing centres as well as deliver essential technical resources, technologies and expertise to support Ireland's testing and contact tracing capacbilities.

On the Frontline

Our staff and students are putting their clinical backgrounds and experience at the service of those working on the frontline combatting COVID-19.

Facilities, Specialist Equipment and Training

In addition to providing campus spaces to support testing and contact tracing, UCC’s facilities have been made available for other critical needs identified as part of the national emergency response. UCC has also been working together with the national emergency response programme to provide specialist equipment, training and technologies to support the health services.
