CBPR Module

Community-based participatory research module

As part of work package three of the EnRRICH study (grant number 665729) - a European Commission Horizon 2020 project - CARL have developed a community-based participatory research (CBPR) module and materials. These materials were developed to support academic and research staff with embedding CBPR within the curriculum, with a focus on CBPR as an approach to Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI). The module materials are free to download. If you use the materials you might let us know and we would appreciate any feedback on how to develop the module further.

CARL would like to acknowledge the support and contributions of participants from Westgate Foundation our community partner, students on the first PG6025 intake and colleagues in the EnRRICH project. We would also like to acknowledge colleagues in the wider CBR/CBPR/Science Shop/Engagement community whose work also influenced and contributed to the module.

EnRRICH is a project of the Living Knowledge Network. For more information contact Dr Kenneth Burns at k.burns@ucc.ie.

If you would like access to the module materials please contact ruth.hally@ucc.ie.
