The University is urging people to take stock, but above all, to be forward-looking and prepared to turn a challenge into an opportunity. How we prepare now may be crucial in the not too distant future. UCC has played a pivotal role in the development of the Munster region for more than 150 years and has a proud tradition of making a difference.

Now, the message is that new skills and expertise can be acquired across a wide area of interests, that it is never too late to consider a change of direction and that the best possible advice is available to help make the right choices.

Dates for your Diary for the UCC Roadshow:

• On April 21st, The Hibernian Hotel, Mallow, will host the Roadshow from 3pm  to 8pm
• On April 30th, the Roadshow will be at the West Cork Hotel, Skibbereen, from 3pm to 8pm
• On May 7th, Midleton Park Hotel, Midleton, will host the show.

“The University,” says President, Dr Michael Murphy, “is going out to meet the people in their own areas as a response to the unprecedented times in which we are living. There is always a new way forward and our role both in the region and nationally, is to help people to find it and supply them with the strategic back-up needed to upskill, whatever their area of choice.”
