Jenny Finney Boylan, Professor of Creative Writing at Colby College in Maine will read from her best-selling memoir "She's Not There" on Tuesday next, November 27th at 12 noon in Boole II Lecture.
Jenny was visiting faculty at UCC's Department of English as Jim. Her best-selling memoir "I'm Looking through You: A Life in Two Genders" was published in 2002.
A frequent guest on American television programmes, including the Oprah Winfrey Show and the Larry King Show, Jenny is a highly regarded spokeswoman on gender, writing, transgender issues and the imagination.
The lecture is organized by UCC's Department of English and all are welcome.
