David Burke is an award winning Irish documentary filmmaker. His first documentary 'Men of the Rás' in 2012 for TG4, was the Critics Choice in The Irish Times where it was described as a 'gem'. It won both the Best Sport and Overall Prize at the 2013 Celtic Media Festival. His second film 'Crash and Burn', received 4 star reviews in publications such as The Irish Times and The Guardian. It subsequently won Best Sports documentary at both the 2017 Celtic Media Festival and the 2018 Irish Film Television Awards. His most recent feature documentary 'Father Of The Cyborgs' had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2021 and has subsequently screened at over 20 film festivals.
