Danka Kozareva's image selected for the cover of the journal Hippocampus

Congratulations to Danka Kozareva whose confocal image was selected by the journal Hippocampus for the cover of the January issue, 2018.

Danka’s research study on the effects of social isolation stress and exercise on the adolescent hippocampus was published in this article (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/hipo.22770/full). It forms part of her PhD which is under the supervision of Dr. Yvonne Nolan and Prof John Cryan and in collaboration with Dr. Olivia O’Leary in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience.
