Emy Becerra is a student of Political Science at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She is part of the group of children and adolescents who sued the Peruvian State in 2019 for its inaction on climate change. She is on the Young Advisory Team for the Youth Climate Justice project, University College Cork, Ireland.

John Wall is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, Religion, and Childhood Studies, as well as Director of the Childism Institute, at Rutgers University Camden, United States.

Lucia Rabello de Castro is a Professor of Childhood and Youth at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is Scientific Director of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Exchange on Contemporary Childhood and Youth. Research interests include children's and youth’s social and political participation; childhood theories and methodologies of social intervention with children; decolonial epistemologies.

Aoife Daly teaches law and human rights at the School of Law, University College Cork, specialising in children's rights. In 2023 she secured a European Research Council grant for the 'Youth Climate Justice' project which works with young climate advocates around the world.

Pernilla Leviner is Professor in public law at the Faculty of Law at Stockholm University, Sweden. Her research deals with child protection and children’s rights, but also more broadly on issues relating to poverty and exclusionary mechanisms of the welfare state.

Rebecca Thorburn Stern is Professor of Public International Law, Uppsala University and Visiting Professor in Human Rights, Lund University. Her primary research interests include migration law, the human rights of children, and the interplay between international and national law.
