Graphics competition
Submission Guidelines
Participants are invited to submit:

One original image related to their research.
The image does not need to be published and should not currently appear in a journal or book. However, submissions may be inspired by previously published results, provided the image itself is original (for example, generated using a different random seed, parameter choice, or visualisation setup). -
A short description (approximately 300 words) explaining the mathematical background, relevance, and significance of the image.

Author name(s) and affiliation(s).
How to Submit
- Submissions should be sent by email to stochastica.cost.graphics.2026@gmail.com.
- Please quote the most relevant working group (WG) for your submission (maximum two WGs).

Deadline: 2 April 2026.
Selection and Awards

WG leaders will select the best submissions within each working group.

The best overall submissions will be:

Displayed prominently on the STOCHASTICA website, and
-
Highlighted at upcoming STOCHASTICA Action events.

In addition, selected contributions will form the basis of a future STOCHASTICA Mathematics & Art Exhibition, aimed at outreach and engagement beyond the immediate research community.
