Aengus Connolly: He is a chartered engineer with over 20 years’ experience in offshore engineering. Specialising in finite element analysis, he has had extensive involvement in a wide variety of engineering design projects with Wood. In recent years, his role has become more focused on renewable energy, in particular, floating offshore wind.

The inaugural Coastal and Offshore Modelling Symposium in UCC on the 26th February 2026, will feature a mix of presentations from academia, industry and the public sector.
