On 7 May 2023, we will organise our first Europe Day Festival in Cork City concert hall and Millenium hall. This will e a family fun day for everyone.

As a flavour for the activities on the day:

  • An arts and craft stand to make their Europe Day costumes and decorations
  • A multilingual singing corner run by our Greek guest teacher, Georgia Maneta
  • A multilingual reading corner in Greek, French, German, Irish and English
  • A multilingual games corner
  • A very special EU smoothie corner run by Trish Collier, co-founder of BFGTOEU
  • Simulation games run by our Danish moderator, Kasper Tonsberg Schlie
  • A quiz and games corner for the family run by Philip Murphy
  • A rap workshop corner facilitated by GMCBeats
  • Chalking outside Cork City Hall and on St Patrick Street
  • And a fabulous treasure hunt for 27 teams of 4 (2 adults and 2 children 12 and under) who will have to decipher 15 EU themed clues all around the city to be in a chance to win a weekend away to a European destination.

We hope you all get involved, schools, families and friends. This will be a day to remember and we can't wait to see you all.

We have two competitions for schools. Below are the details to enter. Submit your Word document and video by 26 January 2023 by uploading HERE. If you have any difficulty, don't hesitate to email
