Abstract
The workshop (“Evaluating transformative innovation policies: Emerging practices and challenges in monitoring, evaluation and policy learning for transformative goals”) provided an opportunity for policy practitioners, researchers and experts to discuss key challenges, needs and ways forward in improving systems approaches to evaluation of transformative innovation policies as applied to challenge-oriented issues. Dr Ian Hughes was invited by the EU Commission’s Joint Research Centre to attend and present at this workshop.
