Student ID Card
When & where can I collect my Student ID from?
Students can call to the Student Records & Examinations Office located on the First floor of the West Wing, Main Quadrangle to collect their student ID card on completion of registration.
Please ensure to upload your student ID card photograph successfully before card collection. Note, it may take up to 48 hours for your card to be approved. A notification will be sent to your University account to confirm when your student ID card photo has been verified. Students must wait for this verification email before booking an appointment to collect their student ID card.
Returning undergraduate students to UCC registering for a Postgraduate Programme can update their Student ID Photo on request when collecting their Student ID Card.

Student ID Card Terms & Conditions
This Student ID card will be for the duration of your programme of study and will be validated each year you progress through your programme.
There is no charge for a replacement if the card is broken due to normal wear and tear. Please note that you must bring* the damaged/broken card to the counter in Student Records and Examinations Office, Floor 1, West Wing before a new card will be issued. 0
If a card is lost, there is a €20 charge for a replacement.
Why do I need a Student ID Card?
It is important you collect your Student ID Card as you will need it to access facilities such as the UCC Libraries, Examination venues and some classrooms.
Your UCC Student ID card is widely accepted as a means of identification and proof of age so keep it carefully.
The addition of the ESC holographic logo on the bottom right of Student ID cards means it is a European Student Card (ESC).
