Process & Chemical Engineering Student at UCC wins the 2023 ILC Dover Journal Competition

Massive congratulations to Eoin Lynch, 5th Year ME in Process and Chemical Engineering on winning the 2023 ILC Dover Journal Competition. Eoin submitted an article based on his ME research dissertation.
Article Title:- Assessment of Alternatives to Incineration for Vent Gas Emission Abatement to Meet Sustainability and Net Zero Carbon Targets on a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant.
 
Eoin was presented with his award by Mr John Power, President of Engineers Ireland at an Enterprise Ireland awards event at Rochestown Park Hotel. He was also acknowledged again at our recent visit by Mr John Power when awarding the School with the Accreditation Parchments for all our Programmes (pictured here ).
Eoin’s ME research was supervised by Dr Denis Ring, Process and Chemical Engineering and Mr John Lenihan BSc MSc CEnv MIEMA, Environmental Operations and Sustainability Lead at Thermofisher Scientific. John Linehan is recent a graduate of our CPD Diploma in Process & Chemical Engineering.
