• Former President of Ireland among international speakers from the worlds of international development, business, and the media to attend first Sustainable Futures Forum in UCC.
• Free-to-attend event will host discussions on climate justice, urban and rural sustainability, and the role that the media plays in climate action.
• Event to be live-streamed online on the eve of COP28.

• UCC researchers awarded a combined €700,000 funding in Health Research Board Applied Programme awards.
• The projects will address key national public health priorities.
• UCC researchers will lead projects that aim to drive a step change in practice and improve population health outcomes.

Entrepreneurs gathered at The Hub in University College Cork for the IGNITE Awards & Showcase Autumn 2023 to present their start-ups and plans for growing their business ideas. The budding business leaders who spoke on the night were all participants on the IGNITE programme which takes place at UCC.
