Biography

David joined UCC in 2025 as Office Manager in the Deputy President and Registrar’s (DPR) Office. David has responsibility for the day-to-day information requirements of the DPR Office and leading out on identified strategic initiatives.

David worked in the Irish Civil Service prior to joining UCC, most recently as an Assistant Principal in the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade. David’s roles included Deputy Director of the Passport Reform Programme and Deputy Director of the Strategy, Governance & Change Unit. David has also held roles in the Embassy of Ireland in Great Britain and the Department of Finance.

David is a UCC Graduate, holding a BA in English and Sociology, an MSc in European Policy and Politics from the University of London, as well as professional diplomas in Project Management and Financial Services.
