The preparation and control of quantum states in a fast and robust way is of the utmost importance for all future quantum technologies. This research group is therefore working on "Quantum Control via Shortcuts to Adiabaticity". Shortcuts to Adiabaticity are quantum control schemes motivated by adiabatic processes and mostly derived analytically. We are developing theoretically new shortcut schemes and examining their stability for new quantum technologies mainly in the field of quantumoptics.
