Clair is a PhD scholar on the Collaborative Doctoral Awards in Chronic Disease Prevention funded by the HRB. Her research will focus on the implementation and scale up of diabetes prevention interventions. The project is being supervised by Dr Sheena McHugh, Professor Patricia Kearney and Dr Grainne O’Donoghue (UCD).
Clair qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Trinity College Dublin and has an MSc in Advanced Healthcare Practice from the University of Limerick. She spent time working in the USA as a physiotherapist and prior to commencing her PhD worked as a Senior Community Physiotherapist for the HSE with a special interest in diabetes prevention.
