Biography

Jamie Madden is a HRB PhD scholar in Health Services Research based in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health. He graduated with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 from the Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering Department, National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) in 2009. He then completed a Masters in Statistics in University College Cork (UCC) in 2012 and commenced work in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, UCC as a research assistant to Dr. Patricia Kearney in January 2012. His PhD will primarily focus on the analysis of longitudinal data, specifically ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and accelerometer data. His supervisory team include Dr. Tony Fitzgerald and Dr. Patricia Kearney.
