Biography

Irene is a HRB PhD scholar in Health Services Research based at the National Suicide Research Foundation (NSRF). Irene's PhD will examine the causes and consequences of hospital treated deliberate self harm in Ireland, using the National Registry of Deliberate Self Harm Ireland dataset.  After graduating from University College Dublin (UCD) with a Masters in Public Health (MPH), Irene worked in Liverpool as a public health analyst. Her supervisory panel include: Prof Ivan J Perry and Dr Paul Corcoran.
