The National Practice teaching in social work initiative (NPTSWI) in partnership with the IASW hosts online CPD events to support practice teachers."Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is one of the key mechanisms used to foster high standards of professional conduct and professional education, training and competence among registrants." Registration for these events is OPEN TO ALL and FREE for non-members and members.
Importance of CPD
In this video Clíona encourages practice teachers to think about what motivated you to become a social worker, to put a focus on those things that uplift and sustain you in your work, and to consider what nourishes you, what inspires you and how CPD can support you with this.
