Royal Town Planning Institute

The Masters in Planning and Sustainable Development (M.Plan) is now fully accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), an international professional body which has actively promoted planning in Ireland, both north and south, for many years.

M.Plan graduates, once they have attained suitable work experience, are eligible for chartered membership of the Institute, and can use the title 'Chartered Planner' and the designatory letters MRTPI.  The RTPI also accredits courses in University College Dublin and Queens University Belfast as well as courses in Britain and overseas.  

The RTPI is a member association of the European Council of Town Planners ECTP and it has strong links with other professional associations throughout the world.   Further information about the Institute can be found here
