Dr. A.K.M. Mahtab Hossain
Biography
A.K.M. Mahtab Hossain received his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology) in 2003. He then received his M.Engg in Computer Science from AIT (Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand) in 2005, and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NUS (National University of Singapore) in 2010. From 2013 to January 2015, he worked as a Post-Doc Researcher at MISL, Computer Science, University College Cork (UCC). Before joining UCC, he served as an Assistant Professor in Asian University for Women (AUW), Bangladesh, and prior to that, he was working as a Postdoctoral Research Specialist in the Internet Education and Research Laboratory (intERLab), Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
Research Interests
His research interests include indoor localization, wireless sensor networks, mobile IP, and mobile/vehicular ad-hoc networks.
