Study tours are an integral part of the Summer School programme and give students the opportunity to explore the beauty of the Irish countryside and to experience the places examined in lectures and seminars. The study tours will bring students to Fota House and Cobh in County Cork; Ardmore, Co Waterford, a picturesque coastal village and the site of an impressive range of early Christian monuments; Curraghmore, one of the most important country houses in Ireland. The social programme will include a theatre visit.
