Erasmus+ BIPs: Blended Intensive Programmes
Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes, also known as BIPs, are short-term international study opportunities within any EU country that combine online learning with in-person mobility. Both elements, virtual and in-person, are mandatory in a BIP.
All BIPs are credit-bearing but credit recognition towards a UCC degree is College-dependent.
- Participation in a BIP is subject to academic approval by the student’s academic coordinator.
- The in-person component is usually 5 days in duration, though a maximum duration of 30 days is permitted.
- The student must complete Erasmus Grant paperwork prior to the in-person component of the BIP.
- Funding amounts depend on the destination country and the length of the BIP.
