Programmes
The Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at UCC offers programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These include a professionally accredited BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, as well as research-based postgraduate options to support advanced clinical practice, research, and professional development
There are two entry pathways into the Occupational Therapy programme at UCC. The first is a direct entry pathway (typically via CAO) to the four year BSc(Hons) in Occupational Therapy program (CK704). The second pathway is the five-year integrated program which includes a foundation year (at Cork College of Further Education or Kerry College) followed by four years at UCC. Both pathways lead to the same professional qualification and are designed to prepare students for CORU registration and a rewarding career in occupational therapy.
