Support for students with experience of the Care System
Experience of the care system may be defined as any individual who has lived in alternative care (i.e., not under parental care) for any amount of time before the age of 18. Being care experienced means you will have spent time with foster carers, in residential care, in special care, or you were adopted.
Access UCC Supports
At Access UCC, we understand the unique challenges faced by students who have experienced State care in Ireland. Our dedicated team offers tailored support to help you navigate university life successfully. We provide resources and guidance to ensure you have the best possible experience at UCC. Our services can include:
- Academic support
- Personal support
- One-on-one meetings with a Student Support Officer
- Financial support
