This is the 3rd year of our ever popular radio camp that runs throughout June and July From Monday to Friday 12:00 –17:00.
Aimed at 15-17 year olds who have a general interest in radio wand want to try their hand out at production and presenting, over the week they will learn how to:
- How to write for radio.
- What is libel.
- Present their own radio shows and interview people.
- Learn how to produce a radio show.
- Record and edit Voxpops.
- Dj like a pro.
- How to podcast your show.
It’s a very practical and fun week with the students going on air each day in the afternoon after a quick and interactive class in the morning.
The week starts with an introduction to our state of the art digital desk and ends with the students producing and presenting their own music shows broadcast to Cork city and worldwide online which are then podcast afterwards.
