Research Areas

The Ultrasonics Research Group is inter-disciplinary and investigates a wide range of ultrasonic related research topics. Of particular interest is the development of new designs of ultrasonic transducers based on a capacitive principle, and their use in industrial and medical applications.

Specific areas of interest include medical elasticity imaging, ultrasonic communications, ultrasonic flowmetering, ultrasonic tomography and ultrasonic transducers. Please use the menu above to see more information about each research area.
