SDG4U

About the Project

SDG4U aims to stimulate innovative learning and teaching practices through engaging SDGs to transformative education and sustainability practices in universities. The project activities will enable access to knowledge and skills required for understanding and promoting sustainable development, through formal education, life-long learning programs and initiatives with emphasis on promoting equality, on developing a culture of peace, non-violence and fairness at all levels.

Project Timeline: January 2023 - December 2025 (36 Months).

Outputs and Deliverables

Project outputs include:

  • mapping of sustainability practice in HEIs within the project consortium.
  • development of a SDG Mapping Tool for university modules and courses.
  • reviewing best ESD (education for sustainable development) practices and methadologies internationally.
  • raising awareness of the project and the SDGs within project partner’s institutions via an ongoing campaign.

Project Partners

The project consortium includes Greek and other HEIs in the EU. Comprising of;  National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, The American College of Greece Research Center, University of Murcia, University College Cork and UNIMED – Mediterranean Universities Union.
