In July 2023, the David Latten Social Impact Award was established by the Logitech Cares Fund, a fund of Tides Foundation to celebrate the life of David Latten.
David Latten was Head of Global Indirect Procurement and Supplier Diversity at Logitech. David was known to colleagues as someone who worked to make a difference every day, and was a passionate champion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) in his role of supply chain management and beyond.
In line with David’s work with the Coalition for Gender Fair Procurement and Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), the David Latten Social Impact Award aims to champion equity in supply chain management.
Eligibility to apply
The award will be offered annually as a one-off bursary of €1500 aimed at:
- Women
- Students from a less privileged or marginalised or minority background who can demonstrate financial need to empower them to pursue careers in supply chain management.
This bursary award can only be awarded once per individual.
Applicants can apply from across UCC regardless of their study discipline if they can show relevance of their field towards advancing responsible supply chains, sourcing, and social impact.
Application Deadline: 25th April 2025. NOW OPEN
