Mags & Aoife Qualify Boat for Olympics!

The Rowing World Championships were on in Serbia over the weekend. With just one Olympic qualifying spot up for grabs in the B Final of the Lightweight Women's Double Sculls, Quercus Scholars, Mags Cremen and Aoife Casey, had the weight of a nation's hopes on their shoulders! 

Usually ones to make a late dash, Mags and Aoife surprised the rest of the field by pushing hard from the half-way point of the race, seeing off both the French and Polish to win not only the race but also qualify the boat for Paris '24!

Mags, who studys Physical Education, Sports Studies & Arts, and Aoife, who only last year graduated from Public Health Sciences, were both on cloud nine!
