iViking
iViking is a mobile photo-capturing app that allows anyone to contribute to the NorseMap public archive while on the go. Through the app, members of the public can help us document the many ways Viking and Norse heritage continues to shape our world today. Users can upload photographs of Viking-related objects such as souvenirs, books, advertisements, artworks, marketing campaigns, and other examples of Viking heritage they encounter in everyday life. In doing so, they contribute valuable data, exchange knowledge, and help us build the first comprehensive map of the Viking legacy and its reception over the past 200 years. It is a simple, accessible way to support the NorseMap project and become part of our research community.
