UCC President John O’Halloran welcomed Dr Eva Mc Mullan Project Leader, Professor Yvonne Nolan Research Supervisor, and members of the Rhythm family to the President's Office to launch the new MINdDS UCC Research Project Website. 

MINdDS is looking for Volunteers!
Is your child aged between 4 and 8 years? Are you interested in your child participating in a study which will assess the benefits of engaging with music?

Dr. Eva McMullan, lecturer at UCC’s Department of Music has created a video featuring APC Microbiome Ireland researchers, the UCC Choir, body percussion composed by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas from the percussion group STOMP and an Allen Billingsley arrangement of the Pentatonix cover of Fleet Foxes’ White Winter Hymnal.

Dr Eva McMullan, an MSc student in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience has created a lively upbeat video with the UCC Choir, Crosshaven Community Choir and the Ukuladies. Performing their version of 'I'm Still Standing' they wish to send a positive message to all and to raise much needed funds for cancer research. 

A new collaborative venture between Dr. Yvonne Nolan in the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience and Dr. Eva McMullan in the Department of Music have brought these two disparate disciplines together to enhance learning for 2^nd year Biological Science students.
