Requirements:
- Your university must have an Erasmus agreement in your specific subject area in order to study at UCC under the Erasmus programme.
- If you are unsure if your university has an Erasmus agreement with UCC, then please speak with the institutional/academic coordinator at your home university.
Step 1: Nomination Procedure for Sending Universities

Partner universities are requested to email their student nominations to Jim McEvoy, Incoming Erasmus Student Coordinator. Email: jim.mcevoy@ucc.ie
Information required
Student Name, Email Address, Area of Studies (as listed in the inter-institutional agreement) and Period of Studies

Autumn Semester/Full Academic Year: 9th May 2026
Spring Semester: 12th September 2026
Application process
Step 2: Student Application Process
Information regarding the application process will be emailed to students when the nomination confirmation has been received from the home university.
Students are required to complete UCC's online application form.
Students are also required to upload the following documents to their online application form:

Official Transcript of Records (officially marked examination results)
- Transcript of Records in English (if your official transcript is not in English)

Learning Agreement (Before section)
- Copy of Passport or Official State/Government ID

Accepted students
- Once your application to UCC has been confirmed by the International Office, you will receive an email with a link to the online accommodation (housing) application form.

- A pre-arrival webinar will be provided. Details will be provided via email however it typically takes place 2 months before arrival
Enroling at UCC and registering for classes
Autumn/Full Year:
- Accepted students will receive instructions for the above in mid-August.
Spring Semester:
- Accepted students will receive instructions for the above in mid-November.
