A new study by researchers at University College Cork (UCC), Ireland found that 60% of pregnant women had suboptimal iodine status, highlighting a need for increased nutritional awareness to support maternal and child health.

Announced during International Men’s Health Week (June 9th - 15th), University College Cork has received funding to lead a major new €6 million European project that will revolutionise how adolescents and young adults (AYAs) across Europe understand and manage the long-term effects of testicular cancer.

• MultiLiLiTrans COST Action will unite researchers, educators, artists and practitioners to reframe multilingualism in Europe.
• The project aims to address rising social and political divides by promoting multilingualism as a path toward cultural understanding across Europe.
• Dr Barbara Siller will lead cross-European initiative to advance multilingual and inclusive practices in research, education, and literary fields.
