Full access to the rocks containing the fossils at this location is only possible at low tide. Access the rocks from Lough Beg beach at 51.82377, -8.304392, walk north along the beach until you see exposed rock, explore these rocks or walk along the coast to another small beach at 51.82591, -8.300198 to see the best fossils.

- White/light grey crinoid fossils in grey/blueish rocks. It is easiest to see these fossils in the less weathered rocks on the small bay. These rocks contain abundant crinoid ossicles and long stem sections.
