WARNING! This is a rocky coastal location with uneven terrain and unprotected steep drops. Take care as rocks can become slippery when wet. Carefully access the rocks exposed along the coast, about halfway between the Shanty restaurant and the Coastal Zone Centre
Fossil Info
The rocks here are packed full of ammonites of various sizes from palm sized to less than 1 cm. The fossils are the same colour as the dark grey/black Jurassic mudstones. The best fossils are seen in the flat lying exposures of the rocks.
