Park at the cark park for Knocknarea (Queen Maeve’s grave) and walk up the hill along the marked path. The path is steep in places and the rocks can also become slippery when wet.

Along the path to Queen Maeve’s cairn you can see fossils in the rocks that make up the walls along the path and also in the rocks beneath your feet. The most commonly seen fossils here are colonial corals.
