Cork City Council
Cork City Council serves the needs of Cork City's citizens which comprises of a population of 222,333 people. Cork City Council is responsible for the sustainable development and delivery of key services for Cork City.
Cork County Council
Cork County Council is the second largest Local Authority in the Republic of Ireland and the largest based on geographic area size. Cork County Council services the Cork County areas outside of the Cork City boundaries which comprises of a population of 332,255 people. Cork County Council is responsible for the sustainable development and delivery of key services for County Cork.
University College Cork
University College Cork is one of Ireland's largest universities with a student population of over 24,000. UCC is ranked in the top 1.5% of universities worldwide and conducts world-leading research in several areas.
The Tyndall National Institute

Energy Cork
Energy Cork is an industry-driven cluster pursuing coordinated actions to strengthen enterprise and employment within the energy sector in the Cork region. Supported by Cork City Council and Cork County Council through their respective Economic Development Funds, Energy Cork was conceived by Cork Chamber with a view to building on the unique opportunities for the region to secure competitive advantage in the energy sector.

Located on the campus of Munster Technological University, the Nimbus Gateway is at the forefront of cyber-physical systems (CPS) and Internet of Things (IoT) research, innovation, and learning. Nimbus develops technologies that address the real needs of industry, people, and society.

Munster Technological University
Munster Technological University is one of Ireland's leading universities located on two separate campuses in Bshopstown Cork and Tralee Kerry. MTU's Cork Campus. has in the region of 12,000 registered students with approximately 2,000 new entries year on year. Of these approximately 6,000 are full-time and the remaining are part-time. At present, MTU Cork has 1,425 staff members of which 824 are academic staff.
