Universities worldwide are recognizing the importance of wellbeing in student success. At UCC, this commitment is taking shape through a new initiative launching in September 2025. First-year students will engage with Jumpstart Your Success: Everyday Matters, a self-paced online unit designed to help them "learn to be well" so they can "be well to learn." This is designed by our very own, Dr. Eithne Hunt from the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy.

To celebrate HSPC Day 2025, colleagues from the School of Clinical Therapies have shared brief insights into their current projects, reflecting this year's motto: "Innovating Health and Social Care Embracing Technology, Research and Evidence"

Johanne Kelly, Lauren Farquhar, and first-year Audiology student Renas Abdalla represented the Clinical Therapies stand and showcased the fields of Physiotherapy and Audiology at the UCC Postgraduate Expo, held on the 28th of Janaury 2025.

The event was a tremendous success, with prospective students visitng both of our MSc programmes.
