The role of the committee is to guide the network and ensure that its activities reflect the aims of the network and the expectations of its members. 

The  Staff Carers' Network Committee members currently consist of some of the original founding members and goes back to 2019 when initial meetings were had to set up such a network.

The Staff Carers' Network is also part of the Higher Education Ireland Carers Network.
