Outline

Module Overview

  • This is a micro credential encompassing 3 parts.
    • Part 1. What is change? Objective: deep understanding of change from an experiential, theoretical and skill-based perspective.
    • Part 2. Behavioural change applied to public administration. Objective: learn about behaviour change tools developed for public administration.
    • Part 3. Implementation and finding synergies (breaking silos) + organisational change. Objective: apply to own specific job.

  1. Recognise and recall the key theories that underpin behaviour change within the context of sustainability and public administration
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the range of frameworks and toolkits available for implementing behaviour change initiatives that promote sustainability in public sector contexts
  3. Apply relevant theories and frameworks to address self-identified sustainability and behaviour change challenges in public administration
  4. Critically analyse how behaviour change theories can be used to advance sustainability objectives and improve decision-making within public administration
  5. Evaluate behaviour change issues in relation to sustainability goals, selecting and justifying the most appropriate frameworks or approaches for implementation
  6. Design, and assess a behaviour change intervention that supports sustainable practices and outcomes within a public administration setting
