Silhouette of young people enjoying the night

All Right All Night

A national campaign to ensure that our social nights out are free from intimidation, violence and fear for all – and especially for young people, for women and for vulnerable people.

About the project

All Right All Night is a national campaign to ensure that our social nights out are free from intimidation, violence and fear for all – and especially for young people, for women and for vulnerable people.

Empowered with the right knowledge and skills, if we all look out for one another, as ‘Active Bystanders’ we can have safe and fun nights out.

All Right All Night - On Night's Out, Lets Look out for Each Other

The How

We achieve this through bespoke training and education programmes in secondary and third level settings, in out-of-school and out-of-home settings, and in training-the-trainer programmes. We also provide a range of practical tools and manuals on how to stay safe and how to help when you witness an incident.

Active Partners

We will work with key state, public and private partners to build a ‘night safety culture’, and with providers within the night-time economy through training, voluntary compliance and certification.

Collaboration

All Right All Night is delivered in collaboration with the UCC Bystander Intervention Programme and supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports, and Media in support of the recommendations in the Night-Time Economy Taskforce Report. The government is building a cross-department, cohesive policy, and legislative framework to enable a thriving, diverse and inclusive night-time social and economic environment in which everyone feels free and safe.
